"The last time I used "Always" was when I first began my period
13years ago, I always felt like I was wearing a nappy back then and it wasnt a very pleasant experience so I changed to using tampons, however I have just had a medical procedure and have to wear "pads" only, so I reverted back to the only ones I knew of.

I am VERY impressed with how "always" has come along in leaps and bounds in the last 13years, wearing them now I can get on with my day to day activities and NOT feel like im wearing a pad that others can see or god forbid hear! They are so discreet and VERY comfortable that I often forget that I am wearing a sanitary pad!!!!! And I love the way you now have this new technology of the gel and odour control within the pads!!!

All and All, I am one VERY impressed and yes amazingly... happy customer!! Congradulations Guys.


PS: Prehaps for your benefit.....my gynaelogical clinic within a hospital in Dublin Ireland, gives **** pads to each lady after procedures, and let me tell you "always" is like heaven compared, prehaps you should persuade all the clincs to take on always instead.....and prehaps you will change some womens perception of always from the old days and get them all back to your products!

I have always used your brand and find them quite effective. currently i bought the new night 12 always maxi pack due havin heavy periods!! These i find are extrememely in aporaporate because they make you sweat too much at night and in turn caused me getting cystitis. I am sure that the always pad caused this because it is my first time using them. I now have to go on a series of antibotics as a result am very unhappy....."

I am sorry to hear about your health problem. Thanks for sharing - and hope you are already better! Let me reassure you that wearing a pad has nothing to do with your condition.

Here’s why (I know it sounds a bit scientific, but tried to summarize for you as what I found out from different research):

Cystitis is the medical term for bladder infection, which is in most of the cases caused by bacteria such as E.coli. Among others, having sex, genetic, anatomical and immune factors influence the individual susceptibility to this disease. On the other hand, there is no scientific indication that the use of a pad promotes this condition.
Regarding the sweating you experienced, the skin in the intimate area has generally a higher level of moisture. Research has showed that wearing a pad does not lead to higher skin temperature, moisture, and relative humidity in the intimate area than normal fluctuations due to changes in – for example - temperature, food intake, exercise, or such. And research demonstrates in general no clinically significant negative effects either on the skin or genital microflora either.

So, whatever caused your problems – you don’t have to forego the great protection Always pads offer. Give them another try!

"I am a runner and find it really hard to find the right pads. They are all too wide and cause friction burns at the tops of my legs. Even the longest ones seem to move back when I run and I end up with blood leaking. I also want them to be really thin so that no one can see them when I am wearing lycra, not very flattering at the best of times. A pad especially for sports people would be great. Thanks for listening."

In South Africa the ****sanitary pads brand has new packaging and takes up shelves full of space. I bought it... obviously in search of the ultimate product. My dissapointment prompted me to write to you. During my first two days I experience heavy flow. With **** I have to change 7 times a day... comparing to Always there were days that I did not have an extra sanitary pad with me and the ONE pad took me throught the day - even on heavy flowing days!

I must say in retro-spec that Always Ultra is truly Ultra mangnificent.
I know from a marketing perspective that **** is trying to make a "come back" or trying to penetrate your market but their product is not going to match the new packaging....

Hold on and you will come out top of your game.

"I just wanted to say that I've only ever used Always and I had the unfortunate experience of travelling abroad recently where they had only other brands. It was an awful experience! It'd be great if there was an Always travel pack that's discreet and could be taken away with you on holidays. That would be brilliant! I just didn't think that a) there woudlnt' be Always in other countries and b) that I should pack any."

Thanks for contacting me! I am really sorry to hear you had such trouble finding Always during your travel! While Always is a global brand, I guess there may be some places where it is harder to find! Unfortunately we do not have a travel pack, but I could propose you do what I do when I travel: I have a small beauty pouch where I pack my pads and pantyliners, to take with me when travelling. It is discreet and easy to use and I can refill it with just the right number of pads I will need.

"I wish someone somewhere could invent a silently opening wrapper! Our loo at work is right next to the staff room and I'm always really embarrassed that people can hear me taking the wrapper off a towel. It's louder than opening a crisp packet!
